I am a web developer who lives in Eugene, Oregon. I am very interested in community and working with local businesses. I believe in a strong local economy that is both more resilient and responsive to the needs of those using it than our current system. I believe that a local currency is a wonderful way to stimulate and enhance our area's economy. I have joined Eugene's transition town movement and met some very interesting and intelligent people that I hope can help our community to move forward in a very positive way. Currently I am researching ways to facilitate the growth needed for a Eugene based currency, I hope to bring my ideas to fruition to help my community as soon as I can!
I take every opportunity to learn new skills and make life interesting, challenging and diverse. I enjoy working with people and believe that learning to communicate effectively and well is a lifelong process that you must always be mindful of.
I love the outdoors of Oregon, it's so diverse! I find as much time as possible for skiing, hiking, bicycling, camping, going to hot springs, stargazing, going to the ocean and just breathing the fresh air and enjoying the sunshine and the wonderful Oregon rain.
